Comprehensive Review of Parole Standards - NRS 213.10885.

The Board may take action to discontinue the use of the standard in its current form, change/modify philosophical principles, change/modify mathematical procedures for the computation of a score, or continue to use the standard in its current form if no material is presented to show the standard is ineffective, and if no recommendation for change is made and substantiated. The Board shall make the determination of whether the standards are effective in predicting the probability that a convicted person will live and remain at liberty without violating the law if parole is granted or continued. If the Board recommends a change affecting the provisions of NAC 213.510-560, no action shall be taken on those items until proper notice is made.
