Notice of Workshop to Solicit Comments on Proposed Regulation
The Board of Parole Commissioners, 1445 Hot Springs Road, Suite 108B, Carson City, NV 89711 (775) 687-5049, is proposing to adopt and amend regulations pertaining to chapter 213 of the Nevada Administrative Code.
A workshop has been set for 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2001 in the conference room of the Board of Parole Commissioners office located at 1445 Hot Springs Road, Suite 108B, Carson City, NV 89711. The purpose of the workshop is to solicit comments from interested persons on the following general topics that may be addressed in the proposed regulations:
The requirement that parolees who participate in a program for re-entry repay the court and the division of parole and probation the cost of their participation in the re-entry program.
Change existing language in NAC 213.290 6(b) to reflect the name change of the department of prisons, to the department of corrections.
A copy of materials relating to the proposal may be obtained at the workshop, downloaded from the parole board web site located at http://parole.state.nv.us, or by contacting the office of the Board of Parole Commissioners at 1445 Hot Springs Road, Suite 108B, Carson City, NV 89711, tel. (775) 687-5049. A reasonable fee for copying may be charged.
